When disaster strikes, we need to unite to make a difference. On the 3rd of November 2023, Nepal was hit by a devastating earthquake that left countless families in ruins. But amidst the rubble, there's a resilient spirit that refuses to be broken. This is our opportunity to help rebuild hope and homes. Your contribution will make sure that 70 households/350 individuals have a tent, blankets, clean drinking water, food and medical assistance!
We would like to share the urgent situation that has arisen after a devastating earthquake in Nepal. The epicentre of the earthquake on the 3rd of November was at Ramidanda in Jajarkot district, about 550 km from Kathmandu, the tremors of which were also felt in New Delhi and parts of north India too. This earthquake has disrupted many individual lives and wiped out entire villages. Homes have been destroyed, infrastructure has been demolished, and entire communities face an immense task of rebuilding. Earthquake victims are left homeless and forced to live in tents outside the rubble.The massive destruction caused by Earthquakes also results in the loss of hundreds of lives in Jajarkot and Rukum districts.

We (Foundation Nepal) are on the ground to support the initial relief efforts thanks to our local partners. The relief effort is divided into two crucial phases:
Phase 1 - Immediate Aid: This includes providing clean drinking water, food, tents, blankets, and medical assistance to those who need it the most. We have a target of providing help to 70 households/350 individuals. Every moment counts, and we need a minimum of €5,000 to provide this emergency aid.
Phase 2 - Reconstruction: After providing immediate aid, we continue with the reconstruction of the affected communities. This involves rebuilding homes, schools, and essential infrastructure, and assisting the population in rebuilding their lives.
Every euro/dollar/pound etc. makes a difference. Your support, no matter the amount, will directly contribute to rebuilding Nepal and helping the earthquake-affected families.
