Emergency aid in Rasuwa following the severe flooding of August 26
On August 26, Nepal was once again struck by a natural disaster: severe flooding in the border region of Rasuwa. The scale of the disaster is immense. Entire villages have been wiped out, homes, schools, and roads destroyed; tragically, there have already been many casualties, and hundreds of people remain missing.
Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this disaster—with the families who have lost loved ones, with those still missing, and with all the residents of the area now facing such profound loss and uncertainty.
Our local partners are currently providing emergency aid to the affected communities, including tents, blankets, food, hygiene supplies, and medical assistance. Jeeps loaded with supplies are being transported to the affected area.
To make this possible, we are asking for your help. For 10 euros, we can provide a tarp or 25 kilos of rice. For 20 euros, we can donate 25 kilos of lentils, and for 1.30 euros, a warm blanket.
Would you like to help? You can do so via the "donate" button at the top right of our website. Every contribution helps provide tangible aid right where it is needed most.
